There is no shortage of trekking companies in Leh but when we spoke to Sonam from Wandering Wisdom, we had an instant connection. Not only did he explain the Markha trek to us in detail, he took us on a complimentary local hike to test our legs and lungs prior to departure.

Sonam created a great trip including renting motorcycles and securing permits for me to ride solo to Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake. I was most impressed by his ability to push my comfort zone enough to make the trip so memorable. He is also a very calm attentive person who listens well, which is a great asset in a guide. I will surely do another trip with him. Already miss him and the adventures in Ladakh.
